Water has many benefits for the human body. Hydrating means clear skin, vibrant hair, strong teeth & lots of energy to be fabulous! Sometimes drinking water can be boring. We crave something sweet, a new flavor for our tongues. Let me introduce the greatest thing since plain water, water infusions.
Infusions of fruit, vegetables & herbs in water provide a refreshing taste for the palette. It also packs a delightful punch of beneficial attributes. These natural & delicious entities provide antioxidants, vitamins, minerals & much more. The best thing is that the combinations are virtually endless so water can always taste a bit different!
Some of my favorite combinations of water infusions include:
Cucumber, lemon & mint
Blackberry & sage
Pineapple & strawberry
Rosemary & lemon
This is a strawberry & lemon infusion.
Infuse water by the glass or the pitcher depending on how strong of an infusion is desired. Steep water over night in the fridge in a glass pitcher for maximum absorption of flavor & nutrition.
